It's both wired and wireless. There is a switch (usually on the back near the connection) that you can switch from wired to wireless.

Keep in mind there is no built in battery on this one you'll need to use batteries. Also no RGB if you're into that. But good specs for the price

I almost ordered but then noticed both the no RGB and the 2x AAA (instead of built-in rechargeable) and decided not to.

I'm looking for something affordable to replace my Apple keyboard (given to me), and I'm really looking for something backlit on a budget. Ended up going with a cheap, 1 color backlight, wired keyboard from Amazon.
Can you just use rechargeable batteries

Yes, but that's a bit inconvenient compared to having a battery built in like most wireless keyboard that have USB C ports on them.

Also, that means keeping track of the aaa battery recharger and removing/replacing the batteries whenever they are discharged.

My personal preference is I'd rather just leave it plugged in rather than have to do that song and dance every few days.

Edit: I keep forgetting this keyboard has no RGB, so rechargeable batteries would probably last a few months. You're right — it wouldn't be a big deal to use them in this keyboard!

Your coworkers will love you for using this as well, who doesn't want to hear typing from across the entire office!
True! I work in IT so the entire team has Red Dragons. I'll have to check the switches but when we're all typing at once it's quite a cacophony. 😂

AAA batteries mean the keyboard doesn't have a built in expiration date. How many keyboards with built in batteries even make it possible to replace said battery when it gets old and fails completely or doesn't last long.

The MSRP for Redragon K641 is only $74.99 on Amazon and it's currently $63.74 on Amazon as well. If you need it in a hurry or don't trust WhatGeek, you can also purchase it from Amazon.

Oh man, reminds me of those cute TI-108 calculators [ti.com] you first use in elementary school. Love it!

Are these the only two that keyboards this code applies to? I didn't see anything that indicates which ones the code works for when looking at the other ones.

Great deal for the Ajazz.. Keep in mind these ship from China so takes a few weeks but still a great deal for $30. I have a few Ajazz. Not the Top end quality stuff but these are easily worth the full price or double ($60). I'd recommend red switch always!..

Ajazz is also distributed on Amazon and NA sales under Epomaker so yes it's quite reliable. IF you get a chance, I'd recommend trying their switches. I got the banana yellows and it's SOOO fun to type in. I don't have Panda switches but I read somewhere online that it's very similar in feel to Pandas.

Ajazz keyboards are plug-and-play - no software is needed. My only major complaint with Ajazz keyboards is that I've only seen them use 3-pin switches, not the 5-pin ones so you may be slightly limited on switch options
Ajazz AK873 (different model, wired only) supports 5-pin switches

Same, but for gamers, they don't need the numpad. The 68 keys keyboard allows them to have more desk space and it's much lighter for them to move the keyboard orientation to their liking when gaming.
