No, there are none. It looks good but is also huge btw. Pricing will be around 50k to start, 65k for platinum. Pricing will not initially offer deals, and most are sold out already.

What's even the point when you can get the Federal tax credits, buy from an American brand, support American jobs, and support the GOAT himself, Elon Musk. It's a no brainer.

Not all teslas are made in the US. The model 3 is made in CA, Japan, Korea, China, Canada. The tax credit is based on the origin of the battery.

Had to thumbs up your well stated argument even though I disagree with you on some of your assertions. From what I've seen and experienced, electric cars degrade in range but don't inherently become useless after x years. The usable range does decrease by 2 or 3percent each year, so you should plan for twice the range you typically are going to want, but very few of us are more than fifty miles from work where a vehicle with a stated 200 mile range wouldn't work just fine for a decade plus. As someone who daily drives a 9 year old ev and who drives a 20 year old gasoline car to get into the mountains I find the "gotta buy the new one" approach to be frivolous... But when I ran the numbers the per mile savings made sense for an EV or econobox.... and I felt the EV gave me a real sized car that still has a low per mile cost if I own it for ten years.
eventually dies it's a tossup on if my household goes all in on electric. Look at what you use the vehicle for and work out the cost including fuel and a level two charger. Don't buy an EV unless you can charge at home. In my neck of the woods it's 4c a mile in electricity vs 20c/mile for my gas car, so my travel and commute means the second car pays for itself in another year or two after considering insurance for the second vehicle. Now a true Slickdeal would be to buy a bicycle to commute on particularly if you live in an apartment, but that's a whole different mindset and not for everyone.

Eh. As a consumer you can pickup a Mustang Mach-E base model for 39K after rebate, looks better inside and out than this Volvo. But this is bad news for Ford, if Ford is losing money on each Mustang they sell and they start at 46.5K their cost are not under control.

I have done it with a Prius, Corolla, Forester and Pontiac Vibe and a few more. I just do my research. If it is a little uncomfortable at first, I get used to it. I also rent enough cars to have a pretty good idea of the expectations.
