Small but still designed to look like a gas car with too much high blocky hood length and almost no frunk utilization.
Polestar and Volvo could step away from traditional gas car design language. For this car you have a pointless for function long hood. You suffer inside because of that misplaced priority with the unnecessary limitation of back seat legroom and less wheelbase. An MG4 is the car to compare for current design of an ev. Good rear legroom. It's got a 2705mm wheelbase vs. 2650mm for this Volvo. 2 inches right there. 4287mm length vs. 4233mm for the EX30. The difference shows in the back door dimension.

Still not too late to cancel your Model 3 order if you FOMO'd into that. This Volvo is worth the wait and wipes the floor of Tesla for less money with much better quality.

The only benefit of this car is it might bring down Tesla prices
Why? Model 3 has more room and is cheaper after tax credit

My bolt euv has more interior room than this. No joke.
I don't think people shopping for a Volvo want Chevy cars.

Darn no Dirac partnership on this model, I was really looking forward to them implementing it on the entire lineup given how good the sound systems were on the last few models.
Seriously? Don't tell me you want Dolby Atmos in a car as well.

Are you looking for a racecar or a daily car? How fast do you need to drive? Do you go on a track daily?
I have a lotus for that. Doesn't mean I want a slow car for the road though.

I don't think Volvo shoppers are shopping for a Chinese rebrand.

I will wait for Fisker Pear for 30k in 2024 which will qualify for tax credit.
Lololol, I'll take that bet, that car won't be in anyone's hands for at least 3 more years, at best... If it ever even gets made.

I think we will find car manufacturers ability to build beautiful cars but they lack the ability to build beautiful software. That's where Tesla wins.
That's really sad if you think Tesla has "beautiful" software. It's glitchy as anything. How it handles Favorites is messed up. When you first start up your car and try to change a sirius channel, it goes beserk and takes like 5 minutes before it corrects itself. Using a birds eye view for GPS instead of POV view is terrible. I have missed so many turns because I couldn't tell where they wanted me to turn on a fork, it's ridiculous. The one good thing about the gps is how fast it handles search for a destination and get you going quickly but the downside is there is no alternative route. Plus there was staticky sirius that they admitted was a software issue that took 2 years for them to fix. What's so "beautiful" about it? The fart noise?

That's like calling Apple products Chinese since they are mostly built in China.

Just to be clear, Volvo EVs are not built in China.
This one is. Why do you think it's so cheap? Get a clue. Ford tried to import a Chinese car 3-4 years ago and no one wanted it.

3.4 vs 3.1. Lol. As long as I'm not driving a Tesla I'll take my split second loss.

Model 3 sedan will definitely have less room than this SUV. It also has way better performance figures than the Tesla. It'll also last much longer seeing that it's a higher quality vehicle.
Not exactly true...
I understand a newer model, first year production without any history will seem better, but in reality it will not be a better car. Volvo in your mind might be a higher scale car but in reviews and durability reports Volvo does not fare well. Based on the past ten year history, Volvo reliability is poor. Last year when all the dealers had empty lots and long waits for Toyotas/Lexus and Honda/Acura, there were plenty of Volvos on the lots. Guess why?
With this same logic the Tesla Supertruck may be a better vehicle for you.

This is a not a SUV by American standards. It's a raised hatchback. No one calls the Subaru Crosstrek an SUV. Also, that reviewer wastes a lot of time. The car may have no gas but he's making up for it. Doug Demuro please.

Like those saying a Model Y is an SUV.

The problem is there isn't a definitive set of qualities that defines "SUV". There aren't any for "coupe" either, however if I told you something was a coupe a certain set of qualities would come to mind. Thus if we choose other vehicles that are widely considered SUV's, we can make comparisons. A CR-V or RAV4 are smaller SUV's. Is this Volvo or a Model Y comparable to either of those? Laughably not.

That's not shitting on either car, but let's face reality in marketing for once.
