Don't mind other people's comments. It is definitely FHD 1080p. People shouldn't make a statement coming from their assumptions here.
Really? Maybe we all should be humble and listen to what the projector manufacturer was saying.

What you see on the screen is 1080p.

That is exactly what I meant.

If a projector is making 4k image using pixel shifting technology, are you going to call it 1080p projector?

That kind of comments just confuse a lot SD followers.

Also see how other major projector review website listed this projector's resolution:

It is. All shifting 4k projectors are called 1080p by experts.

This is still not a native 1080p projector. It is using pixel shifting to achieve 1080p. The dlp chip itself does not have enough mirrors to to natively produce 1080p hence it has to shift the pixels to achieve that. A native 1080p dlp chip will have enough mirrors to produce and 1080p picture without software hacks.

thank you.. just placed the order for $284.05 .. I bought their WeMax Go which I received today and really impressed with the video quality against my expensive Nebula Capsule Max 200 lumen. I just uploaded a sample video of Nebula Capsule Max ve mini WeMax Go here so hopefully this big brother will do much much better.

This one is (or was, dunno if deal still on or not) a way better deal:
https://slickdeals.net/f/16697072-yaber-home-theater-movie-projector-with-wifi-6-4k-supported-220-free-shipping

-New and not refurb
-Native 1080p and not fake crap
-650 ANSI Lumins instead of 600 (well, if you believe the spec...)
-Reviews on Amazon isn't downright awful unlike the Amazon reviews on this one... Wow are the Amazon reviews EVER awful for this model

For people who are interested in this projector,
Just wanna let you know there are a couple things that you should know before you buy this.

I've owned this projector over an year now,
It is super portable (fits perfectly in my Nintendo switch case) and working great and I love it.

Downsides are,

It doesn't come with android TV.
And you cannot use regular tripod on this projector because there is no tripod mount hole. You need to get one directly from Wemax, since they do have specially designed tripod for this projector.

Brightness wise, I would say it is compatible to Wemax dice which we had $199 deal recently. But due to contrast ratio difference. Color definitely pops better on Wemax Dice.

but if portability is your primary concern I don't think there is no other projector (with similar specs) that can beat this one
Thanks. But from Wemax, Dice has a 350:1 contrast ratio, this Go advanced has 500:1. So, in theory, Go advanced should have a (marginally) better performance on color?

The contrast ratio of a projector is the difference between the brightest white and the darkest black.
Numbers can vary depends on how it was measured (dynamic/FOFO/ANSI contrast ratio etc.)

Which one do you think have deeper black and brighter white?

From what I'm gathering, it's a better deal at $200 to get the Wemax Dice since it's got better resolution and the color pops better. Unless you care more about portability, then get this for $300.

Native or not, both are *hardware* methods to display more pixels. Instead of chasing pixels endlessly, perhaps it makes sense to ask the business question of whether native pixels are worth the extra expense for your use case.

I kinda agree with you. Buying it or not largely depends on the use case. I personally do not know what diffenence it makes if a 1080 projector is true native or not. As long as what I actually see is 1080. Like I am buying a diamond glass cutter. As long as it cuts glass, I do not mind if the diamond at the tip is artificial or natural.
Question here is if Wemax priced this thing fairly or not.
