Get your new phone up and running first. Look for any issues for a week.
Do a factory reset on your old phone. take a picture of the screen with your new phone to show no issues of front and back while on. In case Samsung employee tries to pull a fast one on you.
Turn your old phone off and wrap it up. You can dop off at any Fedex drop off location or find a Dollar General store. They will scan the package and send a receipt notice via text to your phone. Samsung will receive a couple business days later and let you know they receive. Few more days until they get a chance to review and ok the trade-in.

What stopped me from taking the offer was the phone not having expandable storage. I need a device that had this so I can keep adding to my music, photo and video collection.
I don't understand why manufacturers are going in this direction. Oh well.

Edit: now cart in app shows $429 for 512gb. $100 more than what it shows before adding to cart. It looks like the discount for lime color is gone.
Anyone with a plain s21 5G getting a better deal? thoughts on waiting vs. buying now? My s21 battery is getting worse and doesn't last nearly a full day with regular use...

Like some others have mentioned, by September/October there likely will be way better deals at Best Buy or Costco.
