No free memory upgrade to 512gb. With regular offer at 512GB free upgrade, it is $427 with education discount comparing to $449, hence not good deal for 512GB version. But good deal for 256GB.

The biggest upgrade is the 8gen2. I own both s22u and s23u, the s22u is constantly a hot potato while s23u is at most warm under heavy load. Other than the processor, the battery life is a huge improvement. At $200 difference probally it makes sense to upgrade but not over that.

They ship you your new phone with packing material. Some soft sheeting and a lot of cardboard that is long, shredded like a pair of 80s jeans, rolled up on the new phone. A fedex return label will be inside. You will need to tape it to the outside of the box, on top of the original label (or remove the original label and apply new one).

Get your new phone up and running first. Look for any issues for a week.

Do a factory reset on your old phone. take a picture of the screen with your new phone to show no issues of front and back while on. In case Samsung employee tries to pull a fast one on you.

Turn your old phone off and wrap it up. You can dop off at any Fedex drop off location or find a Dollar General store. They will scan the package and send a receipt notice via text to your phone. Samsung will receive a couple business days later and let you know they receive. Few more days until they get a chance to review and ok the trade-in.

What was that deal? I did a SD search and the only refurb deal I can find is from last year for $499

I see one for $469. Was that it? Had to use recertified instead of refurb

final price: 249.99
final tax: 68.75
TOTAL: $318.74

First, used Paypal 5% offer: $15.937
Then clicked on cb website Retailmenot 10% pre-tax cb: $24.99
Then used Bank of America credit with 4.5% cb for online purchase: $14.311426
Then went through Employee cb portal(this always stacks with cb websites) with 15% cb: $37.4985

Total cb: $92.74

Final price: $318.74-$92.74 i.e. $226

Very fair price to upgrade.
What is employee cb portal?

Pretty sure sale ended now anyway, literally as I was playing around on the website. Oh well Samsung can keep the S23. Honor the advertised price or get the hell out of here.

And I spoke to chat support as well, which I'm sure are in India somewhere and odds are they have VERY little authority to override anything anyway so they won't do any price adjustment.

It's still there. And the fine print at the bottom says this goes through the end of the month (although who knows for sure, and it says "while supplies last").

You have to go to shop app on android, then select on the option discover rather than shop. On discover option the discounted price will be coming. Nothing stacks other than discount codes

The website is acting all effed up right now because I'm sure they're changing prices.

As I refresh I'm seeing $629 appear for a split second before prices change to $1379 for the 512GB.

So I'm assuming the next price will be $629 mark my words

Where are you seeing $800 for Note 9? When I select Note 9 for trade in, it's only offering $310?
Look further back. I was responding to what another member mentioned

Absolutely not in 'india'. Sale still on. It only works through certain links or the shop app.

The website is so glitchy and a waste of time adding things.

I tried desktop browser and the app and both are showing totally different prices, discounts etc. And this is using the same account.

Sometimes, you add 2 phones and the other disappears during checkout. Even pickup places are all over the place. It changes, disappears, redo cart again and shows you different stuffs every time. You see price but when you go to your cart, things change.

CS said they are having backend issues and will be fixed in the next 24hrs.... when the promo is gone.

Way to go Samsung!

Yeah their website is garbage, but typically this happens as they're about to change something. I think this sale ends on the 11th so they are most likely making changes right now
