No free memory upgrade to 512gb. With regular offer at 512GB free upgrade, it is $427 with education discount comparing to $449, hence not good deal for 512GB version. But good deal for 256GB.

The biggest upgrade is the 8gen2. I own both s22u and s23u, the s22u is constantly a hot potato while s23u is at most warm under heavy load. Other than the processor, the battery life is a huge improvement. At $200 difference probally it makes sense to upgrade but not over that.

They ship you your new phone with packing material. Some soft sheeting and a lot of cardboard that is long, shredded like a pair of 80s jeans, rolled up on the new phone. A fedex return label will be inside. You will need to tape it to the outside of the box, on top of the original label (or remove the original label and apply new one).


Get your new phone up and running first. Look for any issues for a week.


Do a factory reset on your old phone. take a picture of the screen with your new phone to show no issues of front and back while on. In case Samsung employee tries to pull a fast one on you.


Turn your old phone off and wrap it up. You can dop off at any Fedex drop off location or find a Dollar General store. They will scan the package and send a receipt notice via text to your phone. Samsung will receive a couple business days later and let you know they receive. Few more days until they get a chance to review and ok the trade-in.

It works fine on desktop. It's been said over and over here. You have to login, might need one of the EPP/edu/military discounts for it to work (I have military so see it fine).

I meant with this deal, I know you can get $750 for the s22 Ultra, but wondering what you could get with the s21 Ultra, I'll log in and check

Its $550. There is a deal to buy S21 Ultra for $325 + tax so about $350 - assuming deal is live , you net $200

Phone would still end up costing $999 - $550 = $449 + tax + $350 - still $800 for an Ultra 23 256gb before cb , not a very good deal

I'm now seeing $999 with the edu discount on desktop browser but when add it to cart for checkout, the price jumps by $200 on final page back to $1199 before TIV. Cannot find a way to place the order and leverage the 12% cb offer at same time, unless I order through app without cb!

Got it to work after spending almost 30 min fiddling around between phone app and laptop, sometimes adding it in cart on phone wouldn't reflect when refreshing on same login on laptop, adding directly on desktop using edu discount at $999 would jump by 200 bucks on checkout. Finally got lucky on one go where adding it to cart on phone did reflect when refreshing desktop browser and it went through (prior attempt where adding on mobile app and refreshing on desktop also showed item but with price jump)

hopefully the PP and TCP cb's post properly!

Not sure how the pen is considered an accessory on an Ultra. It's the main differentiator between it and a Plus, and if you don't include it, there's a big hole in the phone!

You do have to include it. It's right in the trade in terms and conditions. Some people just don't read.

Has anyone gone from the S22U to the S23U? Other than video perhaps i ve watched a lot of reviews for camera comparisons especially and I actually prefer the shots the S22U produces 8/10 times in those.
