I strongly recommend getting irons used on eBay. A lot of people use them for a season and sell them. 5 years ago I bought a pair of jpx 900 forged w stiff KBS tour shafts for 400.

Just for reference: I bought some "used" clubs from Global Golf a few years back - they were one year old Titleist irons (Titleist has a new set every year). I opted for the "very good" used quality, which was a little more than 50% of MSRP.. Only 2 of the clubs were actually used - the rest were in factory shrink wrap.
Lots of people out there trying to buy a better game every year and are happy to eat the depreciation.
Got these and went straight to the course… Huge difference from the 8 year old clubs that a fitter added an inch to and a thicker grip that made them heavy and bulky…
If you can't break 90 you don't need to get fitted, you need to invest in lessons. A golf fitting to correct swing faults, is like buying custom rims for a car with a blown motor.
FYI, if you want any different options at all you should buy at 2nd Swing - for $62 more you can pick the grips, pick the clubs (i.e. 4-PW, 5-GW, etc.) and adjust lie / loft / etc... Love me some Costco but this deal really isn't all that great unless the specs of these match exactly what you're looking for...
