Yes and IMO, this is a very good deal and one main reason being this can be a dual purpose laptop. Apart from decent gaming performance, this can be doubled as your portable work/editing/heavy duty application laptop as well, due to its weight and form factor, sheer cpu and gpu performance a solid 9 hour + battery life.

In this version, 2021 model, 3060 is the max GPU in G14. 2022 models are all AMD with Radeon RX 6700S and 6800S graphics. The 2023 models are the 1szt time G14 is having maximum GPU, up to a a low powered RTX 4090 and starting at $1600 with 4060. However, there is no deal yet for the 2023 models.

I kept seeing deals on all the $1200+ SKUs, imo this is the perfect spec for the G14, the only thing I'd switch for is a 3070 Ti or 4060

Anyone lucky enough to find an open-box nearby saves an extra ~$90 compared to the march deal (and $70 less compared to last week).

Damn so many deals, I got the Alienware with 3070ti but I won't play games, this is a better deal? I manly use a lot of chrome tables (like 100 at Same time)

Is there a similar spec/deal with the webcam? I like the weight and form factor but I want something that can do some light gaming, run my stable diffusion projects, but still run simple web meeting calls. Just don't want to go 1k+ at this time. I don't care if different brand.

14"screen for gaming kills it for me. No, I don't want to buy a laptop to plug into a display, that's what my desktop PC is for.

And I've never been a fan of that hinge design for the lid.

Otherwise it's pretty solid for a lower wattage 3060 laptop for anyone who doesn't mind those two caveats.
