And Fab, that is great that you're maintaining a fit weight. I'm sorry I jumped on you. And you do go out and get a lot of exercise in the stores (I'm not being sarcastic. I know that is a good way to be active.) I gained some weight during covid and cannot get rid of it. So I am overly touchy. Sorry.

Oh no, I didn't mean anything like that. I meant that because of my heart situation sometimes I need a pick me up if I'm out shopping and calories don't matter in that case. Please take a look at the post I just did about starting a weekly Wags thread and tell me what you think. I'm very interested in what you, Marcia, and S'momma think since you all do threads. All I can do is to keep the thread going. Figuring out the weekly ad is beyond my ability but I can monitor the thread and post the deals that I find. Doing the thread will motivate me to go to Wags more which is something that I need to do.

I knew you weren't being mean. I was just touchy but not because of you, because of me.

I had an awful morning of shopping. It really couldn't get much worse but somehow I turned it around and I'm having a good day. My CG coupons came and I'm back out in a little bit for more RA and my first visit to CVS in 2 weeks (I was there a couple of days ago but only to scan cards). I went to Smart & Final yesterday on my jelly bean quest but all I could find was their brand for $12. Um, no... I checked out and my total was $12.07. I told the cashier that I've got the 7 cents and the kid said I've already put the $20 in. I wanted to say something like didn't they teach you to count in school but then I remembered that we're in Los Angeles so of course they didn't. This is what I love about Smart & Final. The fantastic customer service. It makes you want to keep on coming back for more...

It's not just Los Angeles where kids can't count. I think there's a huge percentage of folks that just don't get anything having to do with numbers. It's hard for those of us that are good with numbers to even understand. One of our son's degrees is mathematics and he actually taught high school math for one semester - it's unbelievable the stories he can tell. This was in the midwest. And when I lived in PA, a friend went shopping and the cashier insisted on giving her too much money back after she paid because it's what the 'register' told him to do. She finally gave up trying to explain and took the extra money.

I just happened to take a pic of this store's clearance and cropped out the CG from the pic, not sure if you can figure out what it actually is. They look like face items.

the $5/2Shea only showed attaching to 3 items, but saw a scenario elsewhere that was 4 baby items. Don't know if it would have attached to ANY of those 4.

I hope the $5/2 works on something on the smaller side, as I'd like to get coconut oil (tub), which is 13.99 online so probably $15ish

Thanks. I recognize one of those make-up things. Also, thanks for the heads up on Shea. Glad that I didn't try it. I had an all-time bad day and having the Shea not work would've been the icing on the cake. I did the worst thing I could do in couponing which was to lose my RA paperwork. Yep, I'm talking about my list of phone #'s and balances. I'm not sure if it would be worse for the store to find it and see what I'm doing or a customer to take it and spend all of my money. I think that I'd rather have a customer take it but then (knowing my luck) he would turn it in to the store. I ended up finding my paperwork 2 hours later but I put myself thru absolute hell. Then I went back out to RA in the afternoon but didn't buy anything. I wasn't in the mood. I had planned on going to CVS after RA but I said screw it. I ended up getting a frozen dinner and watching a YT movie about a guy who was released from a mental hospital and falls in love with the girl who works at the motel where he's staying. It was interesting because it was filmed at County Line in the 50's. County Line is a famous surfing spot at the Ventura County line. When it's on, it's one of the best rights in the world but it's nothing like it used to be in the 70's. I used to watch a kneeboarder tear the place apart. He totally dominated the line-up. He must've been one of the greats from Malibu. It's rare to see a kneeboarder get all of the good rides but the guy could take off so deep and had such a beautiful style. All of these years and I still remember how good he was.

Months ago, I took pictures of my cards so I would have the card number if I needed to make a scan bar to use. I misplaced a card last week and realized I need to take pictures of them again and put them in an album so I can get to them easier. P.S. I did find the card I misplaced last week.

At least at Wags you have to enter your zip code but at RA there's no security. All the person needs is your phone #. I guess it's the same at CVS if you load your ecb's onto your card. Btw, can you send me your phone #? I want to call you. Just kidding but that's how easy it is to get access to your money.
