Walmart is a shitty place tho.
Can I return in store if there's any issues? If not it's a no go

Fearmongers said the same BS about mature plasma TVs too, they were wrong as well.
At this point you would almost have to be trying to get burn-in after disabling all the safety features. Hide all desktop icons and the taskbar, static image problems solved. 🤯
If you're buying this for a sports bar that you're going to leave on the same channel all year, look elsewhere.
This is my main office and WFH monitor, no issues. Thousands of hours without a problem. It's like people that say not to get any electric car because they can burn to the ground. They can-just like any car-but that doesn't mean they are statistically predisposed to burning.
I do hope we get to see some 8k monitors...erm screens... at this size in the future. The increased ppi would be noticeable for desktop use. Basically like going "retina" but with a giant screen.
Very similar to 4 x 24" 1080p screens joined together. Nearly the same ppi.

Location is Fort Wayne, IN and they had 2 left plus the display, as of today.
The other C2 sizes were also discounted, but not as heavily as the 48".
Been hunting an 83 and the lowest I've seen it at is $3250. I want it sub $3k and I'm in.
That's exactly why they make c3 overpriced——to clean out all the c2 inventory in such a price
Centerville OH.
My costco is selling their floor model of this TV for 899. I was pretty sure the manager would discount further because of it's 24/7 usage on the showfloor. Sure enough they came back and said they could take another whopping 25 dollars off! Whoo wee. I've been contemplating OLED for a really long time but i think it'll take another couple years for me to bite the bullet.
