This depends on where in the world your Costco is but the Scoop Away is most definitely not the same product as Fresh Step. Scoop Away is far inferior.

I live in the middle of nowhere with only expensive options around. I don't like lugging 40lbs of cat litter through the store when I'm out of town picking up other things. I'll buy shipped to my door cat litter at this price. I miss the 35 lbs for 9.99 target brand they had for a long time.

In for one deal, and then cancel the S&S. Sam's Club has a 44 lb Fresh Step for about $19. So obviously 37 lbs for $33 is no bueno.

Thanks, in for each of the deals. I was using Tidy Cats from Target, then moved on to Scoop Away from Costco, and now due to their horrible formula change, I am shopping for a new brand. (fingers crossed)

You can save even more (in this case 50%) on Amazon by not choosing S&S, instead put it in your cart like you want to just buy it, and there will be a 50% off offer NOW (meaning they ship it immediately) and it adds to your S&S in a month (or however long you say).

Good deal but I'd hate to have the deliver person carry a 37lb package to my 3rd floor just to deliver cat litter. Wish there was a pickup option.

Not exactly a fair comparison since this is shipped directly to you, whereas to get the Costco's price you listed, you need to go to the store. It is significantly more expensive if you want the litter delivered to your house through Costco (Currently $23.89 and that's with membership and the $4 sale. Without it, there's a 5% surcharge) Furthermore, not everyone has a car, Costco membership (Which cost $60 annually), or a Costco store near them.

The scent is very strong when I bought one a few years back. You can try purchasing the Unscented Outstretch which is also on sale around this price. It's 32 lbs but it claims to last 50% longer.
