Overstock, these prices will not hold. They will go up in a couple of months.
Need 5,500mBps+ for ps5. Would stay away from slower drives for ps5, as the latter is so much more expensive, and not worth possibly breaking for a few dollars.
Edit, there's an ongoing deal for the msi 2tb that's 7000 mBps with heat sink. It has mail in rebate though, that's a significant hassle. I'd recommend Samsung if you can wait for a deal (or bite now for some extra $)

I don't own a PS5, but really doubt it's OS cares about the speed of the drive as long as it can address the space. I've been building PC's since the ATA days, and 3500 mbps is still fast AF

One article says it's possible the slower drive may have issues with some games, someday. So it's a decision to take a gamble and save $ now, or wait / pay.
