it's a decent deal for amazon, walmart's regular price on the 2lb bag is only 84 cents/lb though - really walmart is nearly always cheaper on food staples, but this is good if you need to pad out an order, a few cents per pound is just rounding error Wink

I guess because it's the cheapest this brand has been - if you want the amazon brand then its a deal. yes, there's cheaper rice to be had. I don't think there's any set definition of a "Deal", but cheapest-for-this-specific-brand would be one possible definition. For me, rice is rice, I'll go with cheapest of any brand, they all taste the same to me.
