For clarity's sake, there is a Delta 2 Extra Battery model they sell that's 1024 Wh (LFP, just like the D2 itself). One of the images in this listing for options shows both the D2 and Max extra batteries. But... they're pricy enough that you might as well just buy two of the main D2 units. That way, if one unit fails, you have a backup.
I've had a D2 unit for.. I guess a good 6+ months now. I've used it a few times and it's served me well for several power outages (considering capacity limitations for its size/weight). It's done well with solar charging too, having received a decent number of charges off of a large 455W solar panel, in addition to a few off EF's 160W folding panel that mine came with.
Very cool, albeit pricy "'Toy' but not a toy" that can save your bacon in a pinch. In the winter, this thing should be able to power most central air blowers for gas furnaces to keep you from freezing.. and supplement with a small generator when needed (transfer switch/seek electrician). You can set charging rates from 200-1200W to "play well" when charging off a smaller generator.

but I see it not LiPO4
Yes, it has to be on the Home Depot credit card. Flyers in the mail or sometimes by email. The offers are either 10% off or 12-24 months 0% interest. You can pick one or the other but not both.
I'm not sure if it's a price mistake, but I've never seen such a low price on the Delta 2 + Delta 2 extra battery combo. It seems it's lower than buying refurb units from ecoflow on ebay, even with their occasional 15% off ebay discounts.
I wonder if buying 2x of the Delta 2 + Delta 2 extra battery (for 4k Wh total) would quality for the 30% tax credit. Or if the 3k Wh requirement applies to a single power station.

But I understand why they send them. Last year I spent $4500 at Home Depot on artificial grass. I have a long time tenant who offered to pay half. I agreed and put it on the Home Depot card at 24 months 0% interest. But in looking at the particulars if you don't pay it off in time the interest is exorbitant. Last I checked it was already $1500 range and it's only been 10 months.
They can more than afford 10% discounts given traps like that.
I mention because I want the same thing here. A pure sine wave battery "generator" that is automatically charged as needed with a dual fuel generator. Poke holes in what I'm thinking of doing here:.....
HD has the dual fuel Ecoflow generator on sale for $1149 ($450 off). This deal for the Delta 2 and Delta Max is $1449 ($260 off). Supposedly, this deal qualifies for the rebate which I would assume I could tack on the dual fuel generator. That's $2598 - $779 = $1819. The main downside for me is that the Delta max isn't a LiFePO4 battery.

That is the decision since the max is not Iifepo4, not sure which is the better way to go....
Sounds like they're going to have to reorder, but hopefully this price isn't some sort of SKU mix-up!

I confirmed it with a phone call to Home Depot, as mine is being delivered tomorrow, I only have 1 tracking number & I was told Echoflow would reach out to me in 2 to 3 business days for a update. If I can catch Fedex, I will refuse the order by the weight, 46 lbs, they shipped the extra battery & not the Delta 2
If they have the MAX 2 EB with LFP on sale later, i might get one to replace the MAX EB, just for safety sake.
I have since purchased the other Delta 2 + Delta 2 extra battery...but am hoping that's not the same kind of situation...

Check what is the package weight. Home depot ships the two batteries from two different states for me. The Delta 2 battery from Texas 30lbs delivered today. The Extra max battery is coming from California 46lbs delivering tomorrow.
