Good buy for a beginner backpacker. If you decide you like backpacking, you'll likely want to upgrade the stove sooner than later though. You need to trust your gear out on the trail. Look into the BRS titanium stove. It is ultralight, tried and true in the backpacking community.
This is a cheap set but it has everything you might need to start. I have a very similar set and have really liked it. The price is what I'd consider slick too! Thanks OP!
