I'm all for environmental ingredients but once every couple years when the oven needs cleaning, it's the nuclear option.

I keep a 50% diluted solution of Simple Green with tap water in a spray bottle for my stove cleaning. I've used Simple Green to clean spilled oil from my driveway and garage, and it's amazing. Just recently started using it in my kitchen after frying bacon.
