Late to the thread but wanted to call out that it seems Samsung switched from a 10bit panel on the G50 and G52 to an 8bit panel on this G51. Colors will still pop but the panel can only produce 16.7 million colors vs. over a billion.

This cost saving measure is partially why this appears to be such a strong deal vs. last year's model.

Also, the G50 and G52 were IPS.

I have this monitor and it is not bright enough for true HDR. I keep it off.

This is pretty tempting... but I'm gonna hold for a nicer curve and IPS despite a higher price point.

Definitely a good deal. I believe it's comparable to the LG" 32" Walmart black friday deal.

For me, at this size/resolution, pixel density becomes noticeable.

It's a VA panel...which I think are great...so are IPS. Just don't do a side by side.

Does not appear to have vesa.

Despite this being a good deal, ultrawide and super ultrawide is a game changer and could be worth holding out for one.

2 hdmi 2.0? 1 dp 1.4? Is that correct? Hdr gets to 300 nits same as hdr .. can anyone tell me if there is a way to get qhd hdr from the Xbox series s to the monitor... would an adapter work? From the dp 1.4
