Bought this for $460 a few weeks ago. Ran it on propane for just over 5 hours to break it in and used less than a gallon of propane (.8 gal). Had it hooked up to my 10k BTU window unit and it ran it easily with no issues. This is a great price.
I have had one of these for 3 years now, this model, not the first model with the black sides. I can say it will run 1250w on propane, and will spike to 1650w, but any spikes while pulling more than a few hundred watt loads will trip it pretty quickly. I used it while traveling around the U.S. in a travel trailer on a 13,500btu a/c and while in the south it would work fine, as soon as you get north of Florida or central Texas, I could get the a/c to start, but as soon as the compressor cycled off and back on, it would trip. Kinda sucked in the middle of the night. We ended up getting a bit bigger model for this summer but still running it on propane. *edit- This thing is crazy quiet with no load, and it is honestly really lightweight. Although I did upgrade to a bigger generator, I think I will probably keep both because of their different use cases.

Would this be ideal to charge me ecoflow when I don't want to use the solar panel?

The generators that I've owned do have a slightly derated output on propane vs gasoline. No way propane fuel power output would be as limited as that reviewer says. I'm guessing that there was something else causing that.

Yep, as fast as you want to (at least on the newer Delta 2 which can charge @ 1.2kW).

You could go smaller than this (e.g. a smaller 1000W inverter generator), but if you have the Ecoflow actively powering 120V devices, the ~1600 running watts this thing probably puts out gives you more headroom to both recharge & power connected devices simultaneously.

Blaines farm and fleet had this for 399 shipped, in May. For some reason SD deleted the post now. So this is not 46 cheaper than previous low. I still think it's a really good deal. Just wanted to point it out.

That was a different model; it had USB ports. This one has a DC port.

Could get a soft start kit for your AC so there is less starting current.

I didn't have one on the Dometic 13.5k BTU, but did install one on my new Furion 15k BTU, and it will start the furrion, but will still trip when it cycles, unfortunately.
