Kenmore just rebrand from other manufacturers. You have to look at the model number prefix to find out who's the actual maker. this one is made by Daewoo. tons of bad reviews on Amzn. I would avoid.

Right! I could say the same thing about a lot of appliances and other things, but fridges are definitely the prime example.

Got one of these part of July 4th promotion at Costco and arrived not cooling both fridge and freezer. Costco doesn't want to price match another fridge or replace since they're out of stock so I'm stuck with warranty dept at Kenmore . These fridges have faulty cooling systems and waiting for them to fix it while dealing with mid 90 degree weather is terrible. Costco is pushing to return it but they got my old fridge so I'm really stuck with a bad fridge. Ughh

Soon after the flapper between the doors broke. It took 3 weeks to get a repair guy out here and he said it needs a whole new door. He said it wasn't a common issue but he also said this is a pretty new model. He diagnosed the water issue as a bad valve. Nice guy and thorough. He is coming back on the 14th when the parts come in. So far I'm still glad I bought it. I got to pick his brain on new fridges so I rather enjoyed the visit.
