Good to see a compressor type unit for a low price. So tired of seeing thermoelectric junk. Thanks OP
Another bonus. Ymmv. On their frontage they have a spread about at upcoming power bank. Within that page there is a sign up to get in line for the pre-order. Doing so netted me a $20 site gift certificate that is about to drive my fridge $20 lower
I bought the 30 quart version on pre order a few weeks ago for $210. It arrived a few days ago and everything is great so far. I've been able to run it off power stations and inverters with no problem, especially using the Eco mode which draws only 35 watts.

I set it to 0 degrees and watched the progress all the way down from 86, which is what it read when I plugged it in. The progress was slow initially but it got there in roughly 20 or 25 minutes.. Maybe less. The recommendation is High mode while car charging and either Low or Medium on other methods. I started on L then switched to M.

Once it reached 0 I opened the lid. It felt freezer cold so I tested with 4 boxes of frozen turkey burgers overnight. There was still plenty of room. I got the item because I want to be able to bring some of my own frozen food on trips, along with purchasing frozen when I'm on the road.

Once it reached 0 degrees the compressor went off. It would cycle back on again once the temperature climbed to 2 or 3 degrees. Once I saw it reach 4 degrees.

I really appreciate that the BougeRV has a memory function. I was switching between various inverters and power stations and never had to reprogram the BougeRV when I turned it back on again.

The only inverter that had a bit of stress was a Ryobi 18v topper. It went fine for a couple of hours but once the BougeRV started making a beeping noise every minute or two I got nervous and turned it off. But it might merely have been the BougeRV sensing that the Ryobi battery was getting low and dropping the voltage.

Have one of their fridges, very happy with it. They cool down quickly and stay cold pretty efficiently. I use them exclusively on trips and often on a power station.

Awesome product and great customer service. Mine kept getting an E1 error when plugged into my battery station and they sent me a whole new unit. Come to find out it was the battery station that was the problem and not the fridge

I can run it at 30 degrees in 90 degree heat for over 8 hours off my 300w station. Very efficient when using 12v and keeps the items cool for a few hours even with no power

I've been running the 48 quart in my garage for a couple weeks and it's working good. I messaged BougeRV and ask them if it would be better just to keep it running at a moderate temperature or shutting it off and only using it when you actually need it and they said let it run

Several of the larger models have an $80 coupon at Amazon. Any of those a particularly good deal?

It looks like you can't tie this down without the cover. So unless you spend another $100 it ends up being a 50lb flying brick when you get in an accident.

How practical would this be for use as a car camping fridge? I have a 2022 Pacifica Van that I'm gearing up for car camping. Could I run this off of the car's power for a few days? Would I need anything else to power it reliably?

Neat, I'd love to see a tear down and take a look at the little compressor they're using. It's interesting it's a 134a compressor.

Anyone have experience with this in a Tesla Model Y space below the trunk? It looks like it would fit but with little room for air flow. The model y space is 23.6in x 13.8in x 13.8in tall

that is the intended use of the product. should be fine running it off your car battery for a day or so, but i would make sure you start the car every once in awhile depending on the age of your battery.

My understanding is that there is a cutoff that keeps it from killing your battery. If I was using it in that capacity, I would make sure an own a jump pack just in case.

Have a 2021 Pacifica Hybrid and we use a similar one on every trip. Leave it plugged in the back for days without any issues.

Looks like it will fit dimension wise. I got it for my 3 but it looks like it may be 1" to tall for the sub trunk for me.
