No. You want a stability shoe for flat feet. Asics GT line or kayano, the gts variants from Brooks or the guides in saucony. I know how has a stability line but I'm not sure the name off the top of my head.

I highly recommend the Asics personally as someone who has flat feet and has been in the shoe business a long time. Main thing is getting your size right because the denser foam in the arch needs to hit right or they will feel like crap.

HOKA's are amazing shoes. It's like they tried to make this shoe as ugly as possible. Only the fugliest are discounted.

I just bought 2. Rincons are my primary shoes for running because they are some of the lightest shoes out there. I don't train in them because they wear out quickly. Rincon are my race shoes. I've done the NY marathon in a Rincon 1 and Chicago Marathon in the Rincon 2. No foot injuries so far. The price hovers around $120-125, rarely discounted. This is a great price. Yes, they are ugly.

I have Bondi's and Clifton's I have hundreds of miles on my Bondi's They have held up very well. They have great cushion but they are a heavy shoe. I prefer my Clifton's for competitive running. They are a much lighter shoe than the Bondi's

Good deal. After switching to Hokas I will not be buying another hiking / running shoe.

Got a cancellation email. But, REI did give a 15% off of a full priced item for the cancellation.

Saucony run small compared to others. You should be fine without the wide width here.
I'm opposite the saucony guide was a bit just a smidge like 1/4 inch longer than my hokas in same size but 2 different shoes I believe but I like them both tbh

Hoka's I hear are extremely comfortable but I have yet to see an aesthetically pleasing looking shoe/color scheme (deal or no deal). Lol. Can anyone share some that look good?
i have some hoka challengers (one gray pair and one brown pair). they look like any other walking / hiking type shoe. very neutral in appearance.

Disagree, the Triumph's and other Saucony's I wear are exact to size and true to fit.

Currently in glycerin. How do these compare? Sizing is the same as glycerin?
Brooks tend to run small. I have Brooks Adrenaline and wear a 9.5, but for Hoka (and most other running shoes) I'm a 10.5

Heard that hokas in general are not particularly good for running because of how much cushion and space the shoes have. More prone to blisters
Rincons are pretty middle of the road for cushion, a generally solid all around running shoe. Most brands have a range of shoes, including some "max cushion" options, and most serious runners and/or gear junkies have a range of shoes for different types of runs

I'm a fan of the neutral look. Thanks for sharing! Most color schemes are just different.

Nothing against Hoka's. I actually like the fact that they focus more on comfortability and not stylish. Looking forward to seeing the future designs!

I've been reading Hoka are narrow shoes. No wonder why all the wide sizes are sold out. I like my brooks gts adrenaline 22. But many of my medical professional wear hoka.

I also just read that these shoes are below average when it comes to durability. Can anyone confirm?
I think so. I've had three pairs and they disintegrated with heavy use. But I keep buying them because they fit amazing, are comfortable, and are light as air. But the pavement ate the outsoles and bottoms, lol.

They're also very popular with nurses and other professions on their feet a lot, and with actual runners. They aren't made to be casual wear sneakers.

Do you sit in a park or near a sidewalk and look at runners' shoes?
