Lifepo4 batteries. Kinda makes a huge difference.

There are many models (including some that can run a whole house but you're talking $5k+ for a unit like that) that have different specs that are good for different use cases so you really know what you're looking to power, how long, and anticipated power draw.

I'm looking for a permanent system. First I need to monitor how much power my basement subpanel uses. I wanted to put those circuits first on solar. Also it slowly switches from AC to its battery so couldn't be used as a computer UPS.

EF added an Energy Management page in the app that allows you to configure the D2 with thresholds for charge/discharge, as well set up a "Backup Reserve" percentage so that it won't charge off of AC until the unit falls below your threshold - otherwise, it'll charge/run off solar-only.
I believe the Delta Pro is capable of 240.
I'll probably do a homemade solar version eventually. I like excellent deals, like this EcoFlow purchase. Maybe I'll piece things together a la carte, as each item has a huge sale. That can work if I'm in no hurry but know what to look for. There will be bargains during Black Friday period.

I am planning to have solar on roof over the garage and then use generated power to run small portable AC in garage.
2kwh! $1000! Bonkers!
Hopefully Black Friday is kind....
All these storms are knocking power out and I just got this little 300wh battery powering 25w fans.... I'm running out of juice!
There is a competing deal at Home Depot on the Delta 2 plus the Delta Max battery. I mentioned this $1049 in that thread last night. That $1449 deal -- unlike this one -- qualifies for $400+ in tax rebates but the Delta Max battery is not LifePO4.
