Its one of those things. If you know, you know. Easy money.
That's B.S. Wifey and I apply for at least 6-8 cc's/year and our credit rating is around 830/ea. Applying for a cc makes a tiny hit to your cc rating which goes away pretty quickly.

If your credit rating is so bad that your worried about this, then you have bigger financial problems to solve.
The amount of new accounts opened per year is only a small percentage of the overall credit formula. The majority of your score is based on you debt to income ratio. I open around 4 cards per year and sit around 790-810 credit score. That is still in the range to get the best available interest rates.

Dang. That means this deal is dead then. I was hoping I could use my referral link to invite more people. But now, it's gonna be harder to convince people since it's back to $100 sign up bonus again. Smh

I did the prime trial and was able to get the prime visa card. but my prime expired and now its an amazon card with 3%. My brother also has the prime card with prime on his account. I had him add me to his household, but my card still shows Amazon Card and doesn't give 5%. Do I not also get the 5% on his account or mines with my card?

Did anyone else sign up for this Amazon Visa, make a few charges on it, then NEVER hear from the card issuer? No statement in the mail, no email statement, NOTHING?? I never signed up online, I never signed up for paperless, I never got an email asking me to sign up for paperless, and I managed to miss the deadline by one day after checking my credit report and realizing I had a card with a balance. (I know, I'm an idiot, but still.) I did call and they removed the late fee and removed paperless.. but I'm super concerned about the shadiness of them not sending me a statement. I don't know.

Its managed by Chase so it should come from them -- create an account on www.chase.com or use your existing Chase login (if you alrdy have other Chase cards)

Double check your email/address/info on there along with paperless settings

No issues for me or family member -- we had existing Chase logins from other cards and no problem signing up for paperless settings from there
