This is a great price for the ts8000, it rarely goes on sale. I use this for sous-vide when I do but am picking up a second one since the price is so low now. I run mine off of a 1lb propane tank.

It is designed to optimize the air/fuel to provide a MUCH hotter flame. Tips are interchangeable to customize for specific uses.
Once you use it, you'll never want to touch another torch.

Auto on/off igniter, MAp/propane use, inverted/angle, flame lock switch, the basic cheap one only has the adjustable
knob, the TS4k just does not have adjusting knob wheel. Buy it now think later for your uses.
