I like the Pro 6 because I only have one 6e device that uses relatively little data and I'd rather have the second 5GHz radio that the Pro 6 contains since I'm not in a metropolitan city that is constrained by a lack of available WiFi frequency channels, and I only need one router to cover my house so that frees up the second 5GHz radio that would otherwise be used for the backchannel connecting multiple routers. But the Pro 6e only has one 5GHz radio since one is replaced with 6GHz. So I figure I'll skip 6e and wait a year or two for WiFi 7 to be finalized before considering any changes, because 7 allows all three radios to be aggregated and used at once. By then my main bandwidth hogs will be upgraded/replaced by WiFi 7 devices or closer to doing so. Though ultimately I will probably only upgrade when I have a WiFi VR headset that can benefit from connecting to my gaming PC, because I don't really have any bandwidth limited devices or need latency improvements that WiFi 7 will provide.

Dang pretty good.. I have the 3 pack of pro 6.. anyone know much better the 6e is? Just in general for range. I don't have too many 6e devices, but do have gigabit fiber.

Range won't be better, throughput will be, especially if you're in a city.

I upgraded to the pro 6e from the pro 6 and previously from the pro 5.
The pro 6e runs much cooler than the previous ones.

I dont know where you pulled that code from but it basically works with most of their entire line.

Currently the pro 6 (not the pro 6 E) is the sweet spot according to this review and a 3 pack could be had for $225. Amazing find.

Do you mean $112 per unit or total? I see $225 for a 2 pack of eero Pro 6.

Super tempting now even though I don't think I need it! My 2nd Gen eero working good for the last few years.

The Pro has a dedicated backhaul so it will get you better range. The 6e has the latest WiFi standard but that's really not that useful.

Pro 6 is the sweet spot. Wouldn't get the non-Pro though

Does the pro actually add better range? My issue is trying to get eero to reach further across my property to my detached garage without running a wired cable. Will the 6 pro have better range than previous generations which I have now?
