On a related note, the NHTSA just opened an investigation into the Ioniq5 due to reports that some Ioniqs are losing power while being driven. Not a full recall as of yet but enough complaints, around 30, to warrant a closer look. https://www.caranddrive

Sudden acceleration accidents happen on a large scale.
I would be surprised if any dealers would mark this up now....you can buy a better equipped, significantly longer range model 3 for less or a model Y for about the same and then you don't have to win the Super Bowl and drive off in a Hyundai.....all kidding aside as polarizing as musk is...Tesla has decimated the competition with price cuts and a better charging network and overall product
agree 100%, plus lack of charging network and its a Hyundai

Actually the ugliest car ever designed (if it ever exists on the road) is the Tesla Cybertruck. I say if. Elon is a few yrs late on that one. He did presell it at 35K. That wont happen. He said cars are rolling out this yr. Does it count if he makes one car?
I dont have this car but was curious about it. They do use a charging Network and shortly will be able to use the Tesla superchargers (most likely) Car and Driver rated this a 10/10. Actually higher than Tesla. Since they have a fast charger network it may be faster to charge this one on those units with 2 yrs free charging-Electrify America. I personally dont think the .99 interest rate makes this a slickdeal. Its ok. A savings for some. But it will create a high monthly payment and some people dont want that. Also if you are not very top tier credit this wont be approved. If the car is discounted well off MSRP it may be. I think they are really stuck now. During the pandemic the dealers were getting above sticker. Not they have inventory but Elon slashed priced on the 3 and it gets the 7500 tax credit.

Actual sales numbers directly contradict your claim here I'm afraid
Ionic 5 is the best of all per my experience.
Simple cool car.
Most here have 5-15 on lots
I shopped them last yr and ended up going with a 2023 hybrid n waiting for the new prologue . There are a bunch of dealers that will do msrp if you search around online!
That said, with EVs I wonder if leasing isn't better, at least for now. Replacing batteries in say 5 yrs again gonna be cheap. But after a 3 yr lease the technology will be noticeably improved.
