I could be wrong, but it would seem to me that there's not a whole lot of difference between the different brands. You can pick up a 6-in C clamp at Harbor Freight for an everyday price of $6.99. If you're not in a hurry, you can wait for a coupon for 20% to 25% off and pick up two of them for for a little more than this Irwin sale price. Just my opinion and thanks for posting the deal.

6 inch is a good deal, unless you really need the deep throat. Kinda wish they had the 6 or at least 5 inch in deep throat, I'm not sure the 3 inch is enough for what I need.

The price itself indeed is decent but not like, great or anything.

However keep in mind this is free shipping, so you're saving on time and gas unless you were already going to a Harbor Freight for something else.

Quality wise, yeah maybe these will hold up better with rolled threads but let's be honest, 99.9% of homeowners' c clamps aren't wearing out so you're right on the mark with quality from brand to brand.

Project Farm test showed the Irwin to be one of better cheap clamps. Some of the higher priced units did much better in stressed situations. What I don't like about the Irwin is the big square clamping surface.
