This is a great price but I was not a fan of these. I bought one about a year ago used. These mugs are heavy and unless it takes you an hour to drink your hot beverage, it is overkill. I ended up selling mine for what I paid for it. The technology behind it is cool and all, but it's not for everyone.
It's not listed in Kohl's title but this is the Mug2 based on the model number and battery life.

Original Ember Mug vs. Ember Mug 2
When the original Ember mug was launched in 2017, it was considered groundbreaking. Smart coffee mugs were new to the market, and they quickly became sought-after desktop necessities…or at least niceties. Today, there's a new generation called Ember Mug 2, released in 2019, which has updated features in appearance and technology. However, note that both mugs accompany the Ember app and have a charging coaster.
Both mugs come in 10-ounce and 14-ounce sizes, but the Ember Mug 2 has a broader variety of colors to choose from. While you can get either mug in black or white, the second generation also comes in gold, rose gold, stainless steel and copper. When it comes to temperature range (120 to 145 degrees Fahrenheit) and the IPX7 waterproof rating, there's no difference between the mugs. However, while the original Ember mug has a one-hour battery life, the Ember Mug 2 bumps that up to 90 minutes for the 10-ounce and 80 minutes for the 14-ounce. Once the battery drains for either mug, it'll take about two hours to get it charged back to full.
