If you are coming to slick deal to find deals, waiting is part of the game.
It would be a good price in $10 to $15 range – Low $20's if you have a need for this kind of style and like REI brand.
Ok if you are in love with everything about it and have nothing else to buy, make your day for $38, but know that you are not getting a deal.
Personally I would suggest the Merrell slip on options if you're looking for something to wear more general purpose. They have everything from insulated leather (warm like these) to open vented uppers for more summer usage. Kind of a weird miss, but the REI house brand has been having a lot of weird fitment misses like this lately.

Very comfortable but too hot for me and I honestly felt goofy wearing them.. not quite sure how to explain it but almost felt like trying to walk in swim flippers.
