A VPN or VLAN?
A VPN. My NAS does not have a VPN client, so I need to use my router to force it onto a VPN.

Anyone knows how good or bad capabilities/software/UI is? LAN management? I.e.: is there a network.device visualization with repeaters? Ability to control individual devices by MAC/IP/Type/NickName? Scheduling of individual devices? Guest networks? Network/Device isolation? IP range control by NetworkID? How does it compare by Capabilities with Goo's and AMZ'a mesh? Beam-assignment device selection? Though this is Taiwan's Foxconn rather than PRC, Anyone looked at firmware to rule out traffic offload?
How many FAR-antennas does it have for beam forming? Reviews are about "signal strength", which is no longer relevant with 6E/beam forming...

I purchased a wifi6 router recently and my speed went from 90 to 250 on my computer. cable provider is at 500mpbs. will wifi-6e bring even better speeds?
My computer card says "wifi 6E ax211 160mhz"

On another computer, my speed is still under 100mbps because I am using old usb wifi adapter, and it can only connect to 2.4ghz band on the router. A wifi6 adapter will help me in that case too? if yes, Any good reccomendations?
Perhaps the device itself will have a better range and a stronger signal. If so, you may see an uplift but if you're getting 250Mbps on a 5ghz wifi 6 router with good signal strength, it likely won't provide much additional benefit.

For your other question, an improved wifi adapter will give you gains yes. If it's USB make sure to plug into a USB3/3.1/3.2 port. If it's a desktop I'd go with a dual antenna PCI-E adapter.

Do not buy linksys or netgear they are the worst when it comes to updating their products and security. I have bought so many of their products and it was the worst purchases ever. One $400 linksys router never got a single update. Waste of money and time. Just buy the eero deals. It just works:

When did refurbished ever become a good deal? Slickdeals ought to require refurbished in the title before posting

Well I got one, and received the confirmation email. I have a small house 1100 square feet and this should be fine. I'm finally getting fiber in my area and will be changing from DSL. My DSL was a modem router combo, so out with the old in with the newer anyway. Fingers crossed!!

I think you will be very happy with the router, with a new phone you will have great speeds or wired connections.

Foxconn purchased Linksys in 2018. I don't think prior (when owned by Belkin, Cisco) experiences are relevant.

no, not really as you would still have to lease the modem/router. we all know how slow sat can be.

Unlikely, IIRC hughes caps out around 25 MBPS- which even 2.4 ghz can do decent. Especially since you are likely in a rural area with minimal interference.
