If you are gaming on it the 13th gen is a better performer but if not for gaming this should be a solid machine. I have been shopping around for weeks for a decent deal. Trying to stay under $700. ... probably pulling the trigger on this one. (*I do not game...mostly for business work, excel and word work, and some occasional video/photo editing).
Tough to find a laptop with i7 and 16g ram and TB ssd (edit...looks like this is 512GB SSD...not 1TB it has conflicting info). for this price with touch, backlit, etc. ...just trying to get more info on the screen.
But I also am open to others' opinions on this machine.

16GB soldered memory, not upgradable
Also slower memory. This comes with LPDDR4x-4266 instead of LPDDR5-5200

More and more computer manufactures getting away from soldered memory in their tablet style laptops, while Lenovo seems to be doing it more and more to their lineups, including their non-tablet style laptops.

It does appear the Walmart deal is dead but direct from NewEgg is alive for the next 13 hours.

PS I realize it is renewed and I'm hoping that means that it will be reliable, and has 90 days return policy to give it a good check out. I'm not a gamer just looking for decent quality laptop for the price)
