This is not comparable to the 600B which has upward firing speakers for Dolby Atmos. The Q67 which is a Costco exclusive doesn't have the upward firing speakers. I know this as I have both. Still a good price for a set that contains rear speakers.

Anyone use these on a computer? Optical output, or HDMI. My aging Inspire speakers lost center channel after almost a decade. Watch a lot of movies on PC.

After connecting through Arc HDMI, I used SmartThings to set up the soundbar. Apparently when you do this, the Wi-Fi connection overrides the Arc HDMI and you get no sound from the sound bar unless you use the Wi-Fi channel. Has any of you experienced this?

How is if you don't use the rear speakers? I assume the woofer connects wirelessly to the soundbar and I can skip the rear speaker setup?

I don't have a good solution for rear speakers the way my house is setup.

Agreed. I also got this and LG SP7R. LG was much better.
Samsung Q67B - Rear speakers are worthless, there's hardly any noticeable sound unless you listen with 1 feet of it. I put the rear speakers at full (+6). Soundbar is average, sounds are clear, with woofer you can feel good bass though. Woofer is 28W. Decent for the $150 price tag.

LG SP7R - Much better surround sound, woofer and rear speakers have a nice tempered glass type finish at top. Rear speakers are loud enough and are heard clearly. Woofer is 33W. Worth for $240 and works well for my small theater room.

I believe there was a recall for this model for disconnecting at random times. Are you saying they did some update (not firmware) and that they are selling the newer version?

If so, I still have the old one when I had bought it for $230, but have had no problems.
