These have been on sale for a while. I have been using this pasta and tomato sauce [amazon.com] for digital no-rush credits. I receive $0.75 in credit for each item, which is more than their listing price, and I use the credit on Kindle books.

You need at least one item in cart that is worth $2 or more, you need at least two items in cart, and you need to select an Amazon Day delivery that's far enough from the current date to qualify for the credit. You can also only receive four credits for each order, so place orders with no more than four items, to maximize the credit received.

Not this post again.. it's a 7oz package. Can get 16oz of pasta for around $1 at most grocery stores.

I think you have at least one item in your cart that isn't ready to ship. You can't receive a no-rush credit for items that already have a deferred delivery date.

No because the same thing happened when I just ordered cat food in a separate order — I only get one delivery option (July 12 in one case and July 14th in the other). BUT if change the delivery address for each of those orders over to my in laws address (in remote area of Northwest CT) then the same items are it one day delivery and 2 day delivery respectively.

Expiry date? Rice that normally has 18-24 month shelf life came from Amazon with 1 month remaining.

Worked at a resort in my 20s and got free Barilla 20lb bags that used to be crawling with bugs if not used in few months (all pasta has some insect eggs in it … not an issue if you don't leave it in the shelf for many months (years if cold and dry pantry).

Yes, but it works - according to who I spoke to - exactly once. Between torn bags of food (that were themselves packed and shipped in bags), busted cardboard and crushed and wrong items, I gave up on ordering any food items from Amazon. I am told (but haven't confirmed) that if you pick up at a Whole Paycheck location, where you can open in front of the returns desk, that may work out better.

What's the price per ounce compared to everyday prices of similar in store brands? The same? If so, where's the deal?
Is this some superior brand or do people see $.50/pasta = deal (regardless of quantity?)
