My friend bought one last year, and it was super noisy under load (the noisiest laptop I've ever seen). If you care about silence, don't buy it. Otherwise, it has great specs for the price.

I am confused. The op says the screen is WUXGA (1920 x 1200). But the title of the Bestbuy says FDH, and under the "Specifications" on the same Bestbuy webpage, the screen resolution is 2560 x 1600. Which one is correct?

Googled on the ASUS website, the i7 3060 (this deal) is 1900x1200 screen, the i9 is 2560x1600. Best buy people can't seem to care to get the right information in their own pages.

That's a bad idea, Best Buy specs their laptops differently through deals with Asus, you might find something completely different than this on their page.

The sale just ended for the 2022 model, only the 2021 model is available for $800

The 2022 link has been dead for a little bit. The 2021 has issues if you want to use it with a Thunderbolt Dock.

I was able to purchase an open-box, satisfactory for $847.99 when looking into this deal. It is 1920x1200. I was a little confused by the Best Buy specs, but under the Overview section it does list it as 1900x1200. Either way, it would be nice if they were consistent when listing features/specs.
