I own(ed) this monitor as well. Even though it had great reviews, mine started displaying grey bars three months after the warranty ended. If you are going to buy any LG monitor please get it from Costco or get a good extended warranty on it.
I have the 950 version and it barely made it 2 years before the backlight went out.
Not worth it. Get the Dell 34" Amoled for $150-200 more whenever it pops up on refurbished
They will have updated versions coming out soon as well.

For this price, get the above mentioned or the MSI Artymis 34. I went with the latter and have absolutely zero regrets. This VA looks way better than so many IPS panels I tried. I don't buy into all the IPS>VA hype.

I got it from Costco. It means is lifetime warranty as long as I keep my Costco membership. Right ?
Will there be any change in performance going from a normal 1440p monitor to this?
From a 16:9 2560x1440 monitor vs a 21:9 ultrawide 3440x1440 like this one? Yes there will be a performance difference in games, as there are about 24% more pixels in the ultrawide 1440p.

Same, I loved the monitor and I had it for about 2 years before it suddenly fizzled out with a faint burnt smell coming from it. When I googled it afterwards, apparently its not uncommon for these LG monitor to just break after about 2 years of use.
My previous $200 24 inch monitor lasted me 8+ years and still works. For $1k, I expected the monitor to last much longer than 2 years.
I've been using mine since March 2021 without issues. Great for work as a daily driver and for playing my Xbox Series S occasionally. I have this paired with an LG 34WN80C-B (work only), and vastly prefer it.
Really happy with the IPS panel, and very little blooming.
