It sounds like you just automatically dismiss anything written by a woman as "romance" and less than. There are several here written by woman that have nothing to do with romance. Btw, the Kevin Hart book looks like the weakest of the bunch to me. I usually grab the thriller or fantasy picks so it's nice that I don't have to pick this time.
I actually assumed the same when I read their comment, but if you read the descriptions on the books it's pretty front and center. They were also a lot more respectful about their opinion than you were.

Besides the book clearly marked "Romance" the rest of the books are clearly not romance. It was an erroneous comment and I was just calling it out. Name one other book that is a romance and I'll buy the argument.
if you're into romance novels, there's plenty. The only interesting book is from Kevin Hart and I'd rather get it on audible.
The books seem to be geared more towards women. Nothing wrong with that, but I have no interest in most of the titles for this month and prior
I agree. I've mentioned the same thing before in a similar thread a while back. Also, the majority of the authors from month to month seem to be female. Some months it's 100% female authors.
This month, 7 out of 10 are written by females. This is obviously a deliberate decision by Amazon, to make the prime reads feature mostly geared towards females.
I like Kindle Unlimited, as I can find books in the genres I like there, but I usually skip over the free prime reads and don't pick any to download even for free, as there is very rarely something that interests me.
