Turmeric needs to be cooked to be beneficial.
Interesting. I add turmeric to my salads, and I've gone from being a sickly, 98 lb weakling, to being a 275 lb competitive bodybuilder, as well as competitive sprinter, and ultramathon runner.
Just kidding. I do add turmeric to my salads, but I'm still a 98 lb weakling.
What I've read is that turmeric, plus black pepper, equals a decent combatant of inflammation. I'm sure there's abundant scientific literature out there to support this position, hahahahahahaha.
