2TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 PCIe NVMe?
or should I go for the Pro version like the 2TB Samsung 980 Pro?
I'm confused if I could use either a 2280 Gen 3 or Gen 4 on this particular SSD upgrade for this laptop. TIA

I'm also looking at adding 2 16gb sticks of RAM. Needs to be DDR4-3200mhz SODIMM or laptop designed RAM. I've got a Microcenter opening near me that has exclusive sales going. Was looking at GSkill but hesitant to go that route after a prior user reported problems so not quite sure what to do there. I might just go with Crucial to not have that worry.

In addition, I've read from plenty of users that we will need to upgrade to a 170w charger to be able to play and charge at the same time. The Lenovo Legion line is apparently where we find those.
Like I said, this laptop will be the first PC I've owned in roughly 20 years. If you or another user find the above to be incorrect, please correct me.
Edit: Wanted to add that if you go to the Bestbuy page linked here for this laptop, the question and answer section has some good info in it. I found it to be a decent resource.

Regarding your wifi problem, did you open the laptop? It could be that the wifi cords came out, just plug them back in. I've read that this is a common problem on some laptops. I learned about this because when I opened my laptop, I saw a transparent piece of plastic and it came out, I wasn't sure what that piece was for so I asked online, and someone said it is to cover the wifi card cable from coming out. Maybe that is your issue with the wifi?

I've mostly seen the brand new model for $601. It appears periodically throughout the day and then disappears quickly.
I've also seen open box excellent condition twice. Once this past Saturday morning for about $360 (unfortunately I got greedy and missed it because tried to log into my Chase credit card account first to get an extra 1% cashback). I saw it again last night around midnight PST for $406 and grabbed it (they raised the price on the open box models a bit over the weekend, but still a great deal).
I haven't noticed any pattern to the time of day. My guess is that that these are the display models and left overs from remote locations which weren't previously listed online sporadically being taken out of circulation and liquidated online as the brick and mortar stores clear out space for new inventory during the back-to-school sale season.
A couple of the individual components are for sale on Ebay, but they are incomplete and pricey ($35). Lenovo sells the parts for $60, which is absolutely highway robbery. It probably costs them a couple of dollars to make, at most.
If you're willing to sell your kit to me, please message me.
Thanks in advance!
Any info would be appreciated.
