FIX: Create a routine in the app so that at Noon every day, a "custom" statement of "stop by the way" The "by the way" is what Alexa calls most of these annoying notifications.

Every day at noon the echo will say "okay, I'll stop making recommendations." That's your "it's noon" bell.
Also, it will stop all notifications for the MAX time available... 24 hours, which is why it has to happen every day. (Don't pick 1AM or something or the mysterious voice responding "I'll stop notifications" will scare the crap out of you.)

Works great.

I found it by googling. It's still available, though no longer on the item page.

Thanks. Your suggestion worked. Unfortunately, I just tried buying this deal but the 25% off is not showing up. I guess this deal is not for me. I am going to cancel my trade-in.

Does anyone have any experience with this 3rd gen model and the previous 2nd gen model? Ive watched a few review videos and people seem to have different opinions on the sound. An Audio Engineer had high praise for the 2nd gen, saying its probably the best sounding smart display and that the 3rd gen was a step back in sound quality. https://youtu.be/DbYr7biu_DA?t=187​ [youtu.be]

I have a refurbed 2nd gen in perfect condition that I got for $25, and I'm wondering if I should try upgrading with the 25% off + $60 in trade in. Should come out to $77 if I'm doing my math right.

Thx, got it for $108 after tax. Got 25% off cause I traded in my old echo show 10 a few weeks ago. Got $60 for it. The 25% off is off the original price.

I bought it. Put it on Discover card. Amazon had 40% off ($50) if you use Discover card right now.. Plus I had discover points. Getting $60 back once the Alexa I'm trading in arrives there. You can do a return on the bulb. They let me keep the bulb and gave me the money back!

What Alexa devices did you have before? I'm guessing they were the 2nd gen Show 10's for $60. If they were how does the audio quality compare to the new 3rd gen?
