Coincidentally grabbed one of these a couple weeks ago for vitamins. It kind of sucks to be honest; If I was cutting something with an important dosage I'd definitely get a nicer cutter. The cuts often come out uneven, and there's always quite a bit of pill powder inside, so you're definitely losing some. Also it's essentially just a razor blade glued to a plastic housing lol.

Fine for cheap vitamins but I wouldn't do anything important with it.

EDIT: This is my first and only pill cutter, so maybe all that ^ is just par for the course and I don't know any better. Not sure.

Whilst checking Amazon for other options, I noticed half of them resemble pet nail clippers (makes sense). Over to the pet nail clipper section and there are much nicer options, with higher average review scores. Might be worth a look.

If the pills are small, a great tool to cut pills with is cat nail clipper. It makes it easy to cut into fourths. They usually have them in stock at dollar tree

Yes! This one has been excellent for me.
The cutting motion for this feels sturdier and effortless compared to the one above because you can feel the thin blade on the pill. Cannot recommend it enough.
