Please note, this is for amazon members that already had prime in the past, and cannot get the free trial offer anymore.

You can get 1 week of Amazon Prime membership trial for only $1.99 (or $0.99 students). If you get it now you can participate in Prime Days, July 11&12.

For current Amazon members regular prime is $14.99/month or prorated $3.49/week.
You can cancel at the end of your trial period, otherwise the regular rate of $14.99/month will kick in.

There are some great deals that are reserved for prime member only.

Ugh, I bought 1 month of Prime for $15 two days ago (to take advantage of numerous pre-Prime Day and Prime Day deals, many of which have Prime-exclusive pricing). Amazon used to offer a month of free Prime Trial on my account every few months for the last 3-4 years but no more.

Ive used the 1 week trial for $2 multiple times. It works well if you don't really need Prime and are sitting on the fence needing to buy Items for cheap and have them shipped quickly

Note, for those on the mobile browser, switch to desktop view and look at "other plans". Then on that page you should see a link that says "not a student", and when selected it should give you an offer for $1.99 for a week if you've had prime in the past.
