Wish there was a way it could instantly cool down coffee and turn hot cuffee to ice coffee without diluting it (for example with ice cubes).

They make "chiller" containers which you could use. If you are pre-freezing the container, I probably wouldn't directly pour hot into it. But can probably let it cool in a mug in fridge for a few mins then do it.

This is actually designed to cool your coffee to your drinking temperature faster than just letting it sit. It doesn't do the icing, but that's a different story. You could consider the freezerball brewing that's all the rage, but in the end of still recommend these mugs.

I did the original Kickstarter for travel and love the desk version as well. The 10 oz is smaller than I'd like so 14 is the good spot. But this is a good price for the shiny ones. The black ones fleere 52 at Kohl's the other day which is an amazing price. Is it a luxury item? Absolutely, but if coffee is important to you, and you want it to be the perfect temp until you finish your cup, this is way better than those coasters that just warm your mug.

How about you educate yourself on the product then? It's not instantaneous, but it does cool your beverage down faster than just leaving it on your desk top.... But hey, I only have purchased about 10 of these for myself and others.

Yes the black 14 is a much better price, but these are tough to find on sale, so it's really surprising that two alerts within a month. This color specifically though would be the draw for some. However I prefer the 14 oz to the 10 oz, and so long as it's not white the color isn't important (I have the white one, and it stains funny, bought the black from Kohl's though and very happy.

As long as it is above like 85/90f it will warm up. Educate yourself this is my 3rd one. And it will on (android) will alert you when it reaches the desired temp (albeit within a limited range ) been using one for 3+ year

I have seen the heat up while on the stand. I never really used it to maintain heat while mobile. I keep my coffee quite hot the battery lasts me maybe 15-20 minutes tops

I got one from kohls as well and it just arrived it was totted as white. But the box from external appearances is black
