The warranty is 18 months. You aren't entitled to an extra month of warranty. You requested an exception, and they have the right to say no.

any problems carrying this to airplane?
Nope. I have traveled both domestic and international and no questions asked.

Hmm how useful is this? Looks like a nice device, but not sure how useful it would be for me. Obviously not going to bring this to travel because too bulky…

Can find a wall charger at most places now a days, and macbook batteries last forever
This is exactly what I use mine for- international air travel. Comes in handy on those long layovers or when the airplane power doesn't work (most of the time) or for running your laptop during long meetings when you can't find an outlet at the conference room / negotiation table, since other countries outside the USA don't have outlets all over their buildings like we do. Very very very handy. Smaller than the previous generation 26800mAH batteries that Anker used to sell too.

They are making three new versions of this battery at different capacity's, releasing this month. Link below for anyone interested. I'm personally waiting to see the 735 PowerCore Prime 20k as that strikes a good balance of size and speed for an ROG Ally / iPad / iPhone during travel. The new charging base is also a plus!

thanks for posting. agree, this may be overkill for my primary use (steam deck / switch) or even just needing an hour of macbook pro use in a pinch. new models may be a little better calibrated for actual use.

I agree.... it's totally reasonable.

Just had Anker deny a warranty request on a rechargeable flashlight. Had it for 19 months, warranty was 18. Bad taste in my mouth. Meh.
Did you use a credit card that has extra warranty? Amex plat/CSR among others...?

Exactly. $120 for device only or $160 with charging base (both of which will be eventually on discount as all Anker products are).

This is my tech bag all the time for use at home or while doing trouble calls, it has been invaluable numerous times for having to charger a clients laptop, my equipment, and or course when I am home playing my steam deck or Rog Ally.

Eh, seem like a lot, even for 24k and the extra bells and whistles. If a decent 20K bank can be had for around $40, is this really worth more than twice as much?? Mostly only if you need it for running a laptop or other PD device I'd guess, but still not really needed for most people.

(BTW, I have my $10 LeTV 13.4K bank and a $5 (thrift store) 20K Anker bank. Both still working fine.)
You'll pay more for a fast input / output charge rate. Advantage for this is it can be recharge a 100w rate, so if you have limited access to an outlet and can't wait overnight to recharge the power bank, then this is a premium worth getting.

Pretty much just parroting what others have said, but I own one of these and it is an excellent product.

Feels solid, charges/discharges quickly, very little vampire drain (once you disable the always-on screen), and is a perfect companion for domestic/international travel. Even with a new model coming, this price is a great deal.

New model says will contain 27,650mAh battery which technically will be higher than the TSA allowed.

But... can you check 24k mAh into the luggage hold? I thought battery packs over 20K aren't allowed?
