I have an 840 credit score and I was denied as well
But Cap One will reject you even if you're 0/24 if you have too many open accounts.
Chase Ink is easier to get IMHO. I'd rather get a hard pull for a card I'm likely to be approved for than waste one with CO.

have one already from chase, might need to wait a little longer before they can give me another business card (wife had to call reconsideration line twice to get her second business card last week).

Instead call 800 625-7866 with the Application ID (in the letter) and try to fix the issue.
It appears the 2nd best option is to pay for Amazon purchases with them. The ratio should be 1 mile:1 cent. Anyone able to confirm?
Cashback is absolute garbage, and gift cards seem to be below 1:1 as well.
On their site, I only see a 75k bonus. Why would they kill the deal just several hours after posting it on SD????
