The specification does not indicate the setting out of the box, but the RTX 4060 has a variable TGP that the user can configure, between 35 and 115 watts.

Also, something to keep in mind is that the usb-c ports do not support monitors through the GPU. I went into the Nvidia settings and it showed that the only port that connects to the GPU is the HDMI. It does however have HDMI 2.1.

Compared to the other laptop deals this one looks very good, I just don't know why HP doesn't put numpad on a 16" laptop.

This laptop has the best specs for price. I just bought an Alienware with the same specs for about 1400 after Amex cash back. This one has a better CPU and 4060 GPU and higher capacity storage. Debating on return for the Alienware.

Do you know by any change how to edit these settings?

Dang. I just bought this like an hour ago. O should have posted it to SD. The screen is absolutely gorgeous I couldn't tell the difference between this and the OLED models next to it. I'm in love with this screen. I had an ASUS ROG ZEPHYRUS M16 and I like this HP alot more, it's not all tacky looking like the other gaming laptops.

I just bought an open box Alienware x15r with the i7 and 3070ti for a similar price. I'm brand new to playing games on a computer, what on thoughts on the two?

If gaming is your main purpose, keep Alienware. This is not a gaming laptop by any means and the maximum combined power (CPU+GPU) it can handle, is way lesser than Alienware m15 series. This is a productivity laptop, similar to XPS 15. You can definitely game on it but not like a powerful gaming laptop.
