The 14 inch model might not utilize the full performance of M1 Max?

Not sure if I should wait for the 16 inch deals

Still an incredible deal for the last gen 14 MBP. M1 chip is still extremely relevant and capable.

Max Tech did a really good comparison of 14 vs 16 with same M1 MAX chip and specs. https://youtu.be/2XY_Utsmfvw

Shows $2599 for me, but it's sketchy that AppleCare+ doesn't show up as a separate item, instead it says "APPL CR".

Depends if you value portability and ease of holding/carrying in one hand as you move around, and whether you work in tight spaces often enough (on airplane, train, etc.).

Didn't read the post too well did yaa? It literally says "may not work correctly on the app/mobile site, use a desktop". 😂

Seems like a good deal on a very beefy spec'd machine. I don't think I've seen a 64GB/2TB get discounted.

B&H had this same machine for $2,500 in May of this year.

Correct, yes. A decent reference point though. So this deal is like that deal but with 3 years of crAppleCare+ for +$100, which I would argue is pretty great. And $0 tax if you sign up for the "PayBoo" card.

I'm considering selling my silver 14" M1 Pro 1TB/32GB (with 2 years of AppleCare+ left) and buying this one with the proceeds. Not sure it's worth it though. Probably would end up getting about ~$1,500-$1,700 net by selling my machine. I have the original box, unused AC Adapter and MagSafe cable, etc. So I'd have to pay +$1,100 to basically double storage, 4x RAM, and +CPU... Only thing that bothers me about my current machine is the 16GB of RAM. Tough choice.
