YMMV but I allowed my free year membership from AAA to expire. It originally was through a T-Mobile promotion. I randomly got mail today stating another complimentary free year would be given to me by AAA
Here is the letter
" I'm writing today to thank you for being a Member and to inform you that you've been chosen to receive an additional year of coverage within our

Well that's probably because you've been asking for the wrong thing this entire time!
Basic is free towing for 7 miles. The next level is 100 miles of towing. You can upgrade for an additional fee the day of.
