The first one has been as low as $9.99 and even the gold edition with all included DLC has been as low as $13.50.

Well, it is a good price. The lowest I ever see the first one is $15. So, $20 is probably the best it's going to be for a while. Granted you're probably going to have many chances to get it at this price, just like with the first one. They're great games, but they have very limited appeal, being XCOM-like tactics games.
