    Got this for my 8yo last time it was this price. She liked it. She tends to be so-so about platformers, but prefers the lower pressure of untimed 3d types. Mostly she's into building sandbox games, but still liked this. Not really my kind of game, and from the perspective of a grizzled gamer, the flaws are a bit painfully present... repetitive at times, so low replay value, but it's well worth $20 if you like mostly low to the ground 3d platformers.

    Meanwhile the gold edition is $89 on Amazon. I've been waiting on that edition to hit $20 but I don't even know what the difference is. Perhaps the Standard edition is good enough? Clearly this game is headed for bargain bin territory as everyone expected.

    Actually had my 7 year old try this last night because I bought it at release for regular price and nobody plays it so I was hoping she might enjoy it. No such luck.

    I copped this the last time it was $20 on amazon and the price went back up *immediately* after I bought it, so pay attention while adding it to your cart.
